Hi Steve,

It sounds like Pseudoscorpions (Order Pseudoscopiones). They look like
scorpions and should have 8 legs. They are very small. The ones that I
have seen I needed a hand lense to look at. I know that on a few the front
pair of legs can be tought to see. I hope that helps.
