Can anyone here in Washington - Puget Sound area - describe to me the call
of a just-fledged barred owl? I am quite familiar with all of the adult
calls, but haven't lived near nesting barreds (that I knew of) before.
Last night I heard new sounds in the trees about 11:45 and wondered if
perhaps they might be young owls since barred owls were heard courting
several months ago.
