I stand corrected on the use of lead alloy as a Starling control
substance although either Bismuth or Steel shot must be in larger pellet
sizes due to their being less dense. This means that you will have to be
a better shot and that there will be fewer pellets per shell, this is the
reason that waterfowl hunters have been switching to 12 gauge magnums or
10 gauge shotguns. The shot also tends to lose its velocity quicker
making a longer lead on the "Sky-Carp" necessary.
