Tweeters,

It was one of those classic mornings. From our deck overlooking Sunset
Pond here in Bellingham I could listen to the Willow Flycatchers, watch a
pair of Green Herons fly across the pond, a flock of Cedar Waxwings with
a few spiraling high up in the air after insects (I assume) along with
the regular Red wings, Song Sparrows, Barn and Violet Green Swallows, and
Robins. Life's tough in the great Northwest.

Even made me temporarily forget about the guy on NPR who was arguing that
clear-cutting was a regular part of forest ecology.
