Weather: most clear, low sea fog at 3km+
Wind SW 1-5; Temp 60F
Method: 60 min (timed) station count from observation deck at Ecola
Point using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting rocks, sitting
on ocean.

NOTES: Two very pale individuals were among the HARLEQUIN DUCK
flock and presumed to be HY birds. HY COMMON MURRES could be
heard and many murres were actively carrying food back to the
rocks. BRANDT'S and PELAGIC CORMORANTS are still sitting on
nests. CALIFORNIA GULLS appear to be making a northward
dispersal.
