Columbia Estuary Report - 07/22/98

An OLDSQUAW was at the South Jetty of the Columbia River today.
It can be considered unusual to see this species in July. A
juvenile SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was with the small flock of
shorebirds on the shorebird flats.

13 WHIMBRELS were at the Necannicum River in Seaside yesterday.
