........The sun was hot and I was pedaling around on my 12-speed bike
one afternoon this week. Swallows on telephone lines watched me pass
by.....Barn Swallows, many Cliff Swallows, some Tree Swallows.......and,
2 Rough-winged Swallows. House Finches, Song Sparrows, and Goldfinches
darted across the fields. A colony of Black-capped Chickadees cavorted
in the branches of a fir tree in a grove of firs. Hawks rode high on hot
air thermals, and Mallards paddling on cool pools of water. Killdeer
screamed at me from drying fields, and Jays and Crows screamed at me
from the air. Rabbits bounded through the grass, and a Black-tailed deer
ran across the road in front of me.
........Yes, it was a wonderful day to be alive, participating with the
actors and actresses of the 'greatest show on earth'!!!!! And, as usual,
God's directorship was superb. I may not know all the names of the
participants yet, but I'm learning!!!!
