The surviving result of our BC Chickadees was 2. But today only
one was to be seen and heard. It's not easy being a chickadee.
Chickadee poppers probably on the local cats' menu.

While out of the nest box, the family returned every day, for the
parents to get food from the feeders.

By the end of the 1st week, kidlets seemed to be getting the hang of
the suet feeder and nabbing slow bugs right in front of you.

Time has passed I am surprised how long chickadees continue to feed the
now 1 kid. Although kidlet can do the suet feeder, saw one adult go to
it and then feed kidlet. The flapping of the wings and pathetic
"feed me, feed me" was just like the cat responding to the can opener.

However a little later, adult took a sunflower seed from that feeder
while kidlet watched, perched on a stick above the water dish.
Kidlet whined, parent flew off. Kidlet then proceeded to peck down
at his feet, just like i've seen adults hold a sunflower seed and
peck it open. He didn't have a seed, but was learning the procedure.

Soon, s/he flew up into the trees ,whined for food, nobody repsponded.
Guess next time he'll have to get a seed, cause mom and dad seem
ready for their cruise to the bahamas.
