I don't know what kind of geese that farmer had, but my white Chinese
goose, Lucifer, would turn up his nose (bill) and say "ugh" himself rather
than eat a slug any day. On the other hand, when I lived near San
Francisco and had a couple of Pekin ducks, they relished crunching up the
snails that seemed to be everywhere, and I imagine would have eaten slugs,
too.
