It was a fine joke, I laughed, and I like Gore fine. Indeed, I've been
telling folks for a year that having Clinton impeached over relatively
minor (by traditional Washington standards) improprieties would a) terminally
piss off a sizable segment of moderates who vote Republican and b) give Al
time to show he can do a good job before the next election, ensuring his
victory. If the Republicans succeed in setting saint-like standards for
holding the Presidency, it's clear that the leaders of that Party don't meet
them, and that Al is one of the few who does (I still like Bill Bradley
better, though).

And, once again, it is curious to see someone who's not the list owner
telling us what we can, and can not, discuss or joke about. Get a life, or
lacking that, start your own list if you don't like this one.
