Every week (twice) I drive past a huge nest, and I wonder if anybody has seen this particular nest and knows what species of bird built it. Here's where it is: If you leave Olympia on 101 heading west toward Aberdeen, then get of at the Montesano exit and turn left, toward Raymond and South Bend, you soon pass a lumber yard, then cross a bridge over the Chehalis river. The nest is just to the left of this bridge on top of a large utility pole. I've seen the birds who live there almost every week, but I don't know what they are. Can somebody tell me? Thank you.
