Greetings from Woodinville, Washington! I am Kari Bishay, a 5th grade
elementary school teacher. Currently , I am taking a course on developing
curriculum through the Internet. Part of my assignment is to access sites
on the Internet that will enhance/build my curriculum and provide e-mail
contacts with experts in a chosen field of study.

Each year my class does a unit of study on wild birds, the purpose being
two-fold: to learn about the world of wild birds, and to learn various
means of conducting research and recording information. For this reason, I
have chosen to research Internet sites on the topic of birds. I have
composed a question that might typically come from a 5th grader. I am
hoping you will respond to this question: Can birds eat berries that are
poisonous to humans?

Thank you for taking time to consider my question. I look forward to your
response.

Thank you - Kari Bishay
