We have a angled scope and really like it. We have used it on a window
mount and find it very convinent. You don't have to twist around to look
at something. If I pass up a bird and can't back up I use the scope and
look thru the side mirror at the bird. It works great! It is also good
for viewing of birds up high next to the road. The main reason we chose
it was that Sandy is 5'6" and I am over 6'

We have a Chevy Astro and alot of the time we set the tripod up between
the seats and both of us can view a bird on either side or thru the
windshield. We just rotate the scope left or right.

If we are out in the rain we just rotate the scope to the side, then the
eyepiece doesn't get wet. If you are looking over a very steep cliff,
rotate the eyepiece down. Can you tell that we like ours? :-)
