Jacki,
I can only surmise that the hummingbirds were Rufous. They are
probably through breeding now so would tend to roam more. Our hummingbirds
are quite active and are going through about 2 cups of nectar every two
days. The shubs have stopped blooming but we have other plants that also
are attractive to them.
