A quick paddle around Everett Harbor resulted in the following sightings
(not in checklist order; the highlights are towards the top):

1 Horned Grebe - full alternate plumage, apparently unable to fly.

4 Arctic Terns - my first sighting this year.

13 Caspian Terns - a tiny remnant of what we've had the last two summers
(which is good - hopefully the others have found a place to nest somewhere
else)

2 Pigeon Guillemots - are they nesting?? If so, where??

1 Spotted Sandpiper

1 Unid. shorebird. About kildeer size, but not a kildeer...

35 Glaucous-winged Gulls - I could see from the water that three were on
nests. Probably more nests out of sight.

8 California Gulls - various ages

20 Canada Geese - two or three broods of full size offspring

1 "blue" goose - this guy's hung around Everett Harbor for two years, and
this is the first real good look I've had at him. He looked a bit chubby
to be a genuine Blue Goose.

1 Gadwall

3 Mallards

1 Great Blue Heron

6 Starlings

1 Barn Swallow

0 Purple Martins :(

3 Harbor Seals
