Joanne, I would be more worried about Salmonella transfer from one bird to
another. There are some new strains of Salmonella like DT-104 that are heat
resistant and cause potentially serious problems. As one who deals with
food and food products, I would not recommend the reuse of water. A few
years ago, I would not have had a problem with such a transfer, but in light
of some new findings, and bacteria, I would have reservation.

Try to reuse water is a good thing. Maybe some other way than this!!!!
