Attendance at my feeders slacks off dramatically at a certain point in June
-- I have always assumed they spread out to their nesting sites. Attendance
picks up again later when they bring their youngsters to the feeders -- and
THAT is fun to watch! (These are all RUFOUS.) They don't seem to actually
leave the area until later in the summer.
