Well I'll send this a second time - this time to all of Tweeters. I forgot
about the reply to default.

Anyway, Good News. Yesterday, Thursday, I observed 3 peregrine
falcon chicks here in Spokane!! All three seem to be doing fine with 2
very aggressive chicks and 1 less so. They are approx. 10-12 days old -
quite a bit behind the Seattle birds. This is with the same adults that
successfully fledged 3 young last year.
The nest site is on the old Sunset Hwy Bridge SW of Spokane over Latah
Creek (sometimes known as Hangman Creek). They are nesting in the
inner portion of the arch over the creek about 100 ft below.

Spokane Peregrines:
I will be in the Spokane area next week and am interested in their
location, etc. I saw another email referring to this but haven't seen a
response.

What are the best places to bird relatively close to downtown? I only
have
s short period of time so will have to stay close to downtown unless
there
is something worth chasing after....
