AS at UVA (American Studies at the University of Virginia) has just mounted
a web exhibition of Alexander Wilson's _American Ornithology_, one of the
earliest (1812-1818) attempts to describe the birds of North America. The
exhibit includes nearly 100 full color images and accompanying text.
