Hi Tweets,

After five weeks of observing purple martins in Ballard/Shilshole in
Seattle, our only pair has disappeared since two weeks ago. I read in a
recent tweeter posting that none were found in Everett, although the
observer had apparently been on the lookout for them. Anyone have any other
news on martins? A while ago there were postings of martins in Commencement
Bay, how about elsewhere around Puget Sound like Pt Madison and Tramp Harbor
and Percival Landing (Olympia), places that had them last year? This was to
be our third year in Ballard.

The house sparrows have been very tenacious this year, and I've had to evict
them on a weekly basis over the past month or so.
