this year's Manning Park Bird Blitz takes places on
June 19 to 21. Registration on Friday evening 8pm (or Sat morning,
if you drive in late). Count is on Saturday, with a wrap up in the evening
at a BBQ. This is an event on the list of activities of the provincial
park, but at the same time it should supply some more data about the bird
population in the park. So, birders of all levels, plus their friends
(tolerant to birders) are welcome.
Free camping is provided at the 'Little Muddy' campground (hopefully,
nomen non est omen - and please, no blizzard again!).

BTW...Manning Park is just N of the border in the North Cascades, about
3hours East of Vancouver B.C.
