We went out there again this morning 7:30-11:30 AM and could not find
the RBGB. We saw all the Grosbeaks that were singing and they were all
BHGB. We met Jim Acton and Murrey Hall from Spokane and they had not
seen it either. Jim Acton had been there twice before and saw it at 25
feet feeding on Sarvis berrys. He said that the white on the rump was
very white and that it was not a full adult bird. It had streaking on
the head simuliar to a female RBGB, but the streaking was darker. The
Rose breast and white belly was very definite.

It is really frusterating when it is in our area and we can't find it.

Maybe trip number 8 will be the one.

BTW--the AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS are back on Banks lake near Steamboat
Rock State Park.
