Subject: Lesser Yellowlegs (?) at the Montlake Fill

This morning (Friday), I saw a couple of birds at the Fill that I think
were Lesser Yellowlegs. They were extremely flighty. I got a brief good
look, in drizzle, at only one of them. Gray tones, speckled back, yellow
legs, white belly, puffed out, lightly gray-streaked ruff. Call: a
mournful/alarmed Chew! chew! Chew!

I see, reading Paulson, that these birds would be early southbound
migrants. However, my shorebird ID skills are pathetic, so the ID is
tentative.
