Eight Elegant Terns where seen on my early morning walk along the beach at
Surfside on the Long Beach Peninsula. This is earlier than last year and in
a greater number also. Other shorebirds noted on my walk where
Black-bellied Plover, Semipalmated Plover and Western Sandpiper.
