Just finished typing up this year's Tonasket Breeding Bird Survey
results. This BBS route starts up Siwash Creek east of Tonasket and the
Okanogan River, winds down Havilah Road to Tonasket, heads west past
Aeneas Lake and ends almost at Fish Lake.

Some birds missed this year that have been regular were Sora,
Long-billed Curlew, Lewis' Woodpecker, Horned Lark, Steller Jay and
Chipping Sparrow. The latter four were seen in the area after the count
as well as Wilson's Phalerope.
