I went on this trip last fall and enjoyed it very much. Both Peter, who
runs the Pt. Townsend Marine Science Center and the naturalist on board,
were very knowledgeable and helpful. You could either stay inside sipping
coffee and still get pretty good views or go outside on deck. The PA system
wasn't working the day we went, unfortunately, but usually, you can hear
everything the naturalist says indoors or out. They specifically look for
birds and stay long enough in those spots so everyone gets a good look.
I thought it was well worth while, and I'll go again.
