More notes from the Palouse. Early returns of the Evening Grosbeaks (large
numbers as evidence of sunflower disappearance) occurred last week, 2/25/98.
White Breasted Nuthatches and Pigmy Nuthatches are starting nest site
selections. Western Bluebird have returned to Flannagin Creek, ten miles
north of Moscow in limited numbers.
