I tried for the Little Gull at American Lake in south Tacoma today, without
success.

There were about 100 Tree Swallows, and I'm pretty sure there was at least
one Violet-green Swallow with them.

Also at the lake were Western, Red-necked, Horned, and Pied-billed Grebes,
and both Common and Red-breasted Merganser.
