Yep, they're on the way. There's quite a few large flocks in English Bay
right now, largest I saw was over forty birds. This gathering into staging
flocks is typical for this time of year. Also there's more birds of more
seabird species piling into Georgia Strait in anticipation of the herring
spawning run.

Most shorebirds can and do if they think no-one's looking, yellowlegs and
dowitchers particularly.
