I was southbound on I5, and as I was nearing and getting off at the
Stewart Street exit, I'm almost positive that I saw a turkey vulture
soaring high above the freeway, with an occassional flap of the wing.
I distinctly saw the long wings and the broad white stripe along the back
of each wing. In fact when the bird got close to the sun, the white
trailing feathers gave a sort of characteristic glistening.
Is it possible that I could have seen a turkey vulture in Seattle?
