Hello Tweets,

Today I birded the south end of Budd Inlet in Olympia, and observed the
YELLOW-BILLED LOON between orange-marker(buoy)# 6&8 at 8am north of the
East Bay Marina. Other notable species in the vicinity included: 1 EARED
GREBE,1 OLDSQUAW, all 3 scoters, and all 3 cormorants(1 Pelagic and 12
Brandt's). I briefly checked the N.MOCKINGBIRD location, also in Olympia,
with NO luck, but did see 4 Scrub Jays in the immediate area. I also birded
Nisqually N.W.R. from 9:30-12pm, where highlights included 1 AM. BITTERN, 1
"HARLAN'S" Red-tailed Hawk, 1 N. SHRIKE, 35+ TREE SWALLOWS, 580+ Dunlin, 1
SPOTTED SANDPIPER, 1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW, and 6 WESTERN GULLS.

Good Birding,

Patrick Sullivan
