Can't remember if I posted this to tweeters, but Terres in the Audubon
Society Encyclopedia of NA Birds says that "mudlark" is another name for the
Eastern Meadowlark.
No sandlark, yet--but shorelark is a former name for the Horned Lark from
Richard C. Banks, Obsolete names of American Birds and Their Modern
Equivalents. I know, "close, but no cigar"
