Hi tweets,
Oh, joy...two bushtits have decided to build their nest in a large
Oregon Grape not three feet from my family-room window! (We're above
Lincoln Park in West Seattle.) I've got the spotting scope anchored on
them; hopefully it's discreet enough behind (1) house plants in the bay
window, plus (2) Venetian blinds between me and the bay. I've been
watching them all morning, seeing them carry a morsel at a time in those
tiny little beaks. In the scope, one bushtit almost fills up the view,
small as they are; it's like my eye is an inch from the nest. Thanks for
the wonderful privilege, li'l guys...
