I'm planning a Washington birding trip for early April (4/7) and would like
some birdfinding help for the Skagit and Samish Flats areas. My target birds
there are waterfowl (especially swans), raptors, and shorebirds. There are
some good directions in Wahl & Paulson's "Guide to Bird Finding in
Washington", but wondered if you have better and more specific directions to
the best birding sites there.

Also, if I only have time to go to one area, which one would you suggest?
Alternatively, are there better places to go to in Seattle or north of
Seattle for these target birds?

Thanks for your help.
