The Finley NWR GYRFALCON was seen again March 14 but could not be
relocated. A BRANT was on the refuge that day also.

The BROWN THRASHER continues to be seen near the junction of Bond Butte

nearby at the intersection of Bond Butte Road and Center School Road. The
LARK SPARROW along Bond Road in Brownsville continue to be seen. A PALM
WARBLER was at Airport Road and Hwy 99W, south of Corvallis over the

it might still be in the area.

the coast.

Ten SHORT-EARED OWLS were at Baskett Slough NWR March 15. There are still
many HARRIERS and ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS in the refuge area. The first
migrant ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS are now arriving in southwest Oregon. A
female plumaged WESTERN TANAGER was reported at a feeder northwest of
Salem March 14. It appeared to be taking sunflower seeds.

A SNOW GOOSE and a ROSS'S GOOSE are now at Ankeny NWR along with 7
WHITE-FRONTED GEESE. The RED-SHOULDERED HAWK is still being seen there. A
LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was at Detroit Flats in the Cascades east of Salem
