Great day at the park today. I was joined by Brian Bell, Kathy Hornbein,
Randy Rawluk visiting from Central B.C., and his brother-in-law Reg.

The highlight of the day were two TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE in the cottonwoods
along the slough in the main dog area. We saw them around 9:45, and viewed
them for several minutes.

Other notables:

Violet-green Swallow 3
Tree Swallow 15
Swan, sp. 2 Flying rather far away
Belted Kingfisher 1 Sex unknown
Bald Eagle 1 Down inside the nest - on eggs?
American Robin One sitting on a nest already

All together, 46 species today!
