Hello Jerry and Sandy,
You must have the two Blue Jays what me and Vicki missed last weekend 800
Miles of driving to Walla Walla. We looked for three hours all around where
Patrick and other Birders always found this two Blue Jays, around the Walla
Walla High school and Abbott Street. Also we din't get the Red-shouldered
Hawk on the Yakima River Bridge on Hy.24 instead we had a Northern
Mockingbird, what attacked us,we was played the Hawk tape, hoping to get
the Red shouldered Hawk. The Mockingbird was sighted earlier by David
Beaudette at Priest Rapid Wildlife Area north of Desert Air. I don't know
how far this is where we saw this Bird on Saturday. This is proable the
same Mockingbird Andy Stepniewski and his Group try to find on Sunday, with
no sexess. We also went to Moxee where we had only ONE Long-eared Owl, but
we saw lots of white wash, so there are more than one Owl there. We also
din't see the Tufted Duck on Sunday at 5.00pm. Our timing was bad on this
trip, this is how it goes.
Ruth
