Two kingfishers on pilings with backs to us on Mar. 19th at Salisbury Point
County Park. Couldn't see whether male or female but they seemed to be a
"couple." Will whoever is collecting data on these birds be posting some sort
of report about the prevalence of males?females? in winter and what the
purpose of the study is? I would guess that most of us in the field in
various places at various times will see the bird or hear the kingfisher's
rattle. I like to hear that familiar sound.
