Columbia Estuary Report - 3/22/98

The hwy 101 OSPREY had returned to its traditional nest site by
Saturday. TURKEY VULTURES were reported in the county near
Brownsmead early in the week.

A large swarm of migrating TREE SWALLOWS was on Wireless Rd and
the RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD movement has been coming along nicely.

BLACKBELLIED and SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS are now mixed in with the
usual numbers of DUNLIN and SANDERLINGS on Clatsop Beach.
