Hi Tweets,

If you're ever in Vancouver BC and see a car with the licence-plate 'MYNA'
at one of the birding spots, you're in the vicinity of Roy Phillips (who's
not on-line), whose experience of Vancouver birding is so great I think he
was the guy who introduced God to birding at Iona. One of those men and
women who may not appear in the species summaries any more, but to whom we
all owe a debt each time we enter the Iona complex, as he was instrumental
in establishing what was there--a task made all the more difficult by the
dearth of good ID books at the time-- when the island was a a rowboat-ride
or a swim across the Fraser River's North Arm, and one of the people who
helped form the original good relationship which has existed since between
birders and the Iona plant management and staff.

Vancouver BC Canada full of religion, knavery and change;
mprice at mindlink.net we shall shortly see better days.
