Today I stopped at the tiny pond along Lowell-Larimer Rd., East of Everett.
The female tufted duck hybrid was there along with a pair of ring-necked
ducks, two domestic geese and a male mallard X black duck hybrid.
Unfortunately, before I could make a close comparison of the two Aythya
females, the ring-necks flushed.
