Funny, we had one show up in our yard on Sunday. Mostly gray, with just a
twinge of brown on the back. It stayed around all day, but I haven't seen
it since. Must be some kind of a movement...

BTW, even after living in Michigan where they were THE junco, back when
they were a full species, I still wind up calling them "Slaty-backed"
Juncos at least half the time, much to my wife's consternation. Not to
mention them "Chestnut-sided" Chickadees.
