I did two timed seawatches while on the southern Oregon Coast
The first was at Harris Beach for 15 minutes, the second was a
30 minute watch from Simpson Reef at Shore Acres State Park.

There were good movements of BRANT, COMMON MURRES, and PIGEON
GUILLEMOTS were observed at Simpson Reef. Three SOOTY SHEARWATERS
came by in a loose group. The silvery wing linings were easily
observed. Toward the end of the 30 minute period a single
SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER made a close approach.
