The tufted duck was still present at the Green Road ponds off of Cook rd.
The best viewing of the bird is from Kelleher RD. (a right turn off of
Green Rd.).
At the Avalon Golf Course today there was one BARN SWALLOW and an
incredible concentration of Rufous Hummingbirds, 13 seen and an estimated
35-40 more heard during eighteen holes of golf (nasty habit can't seem to
get rid of ;).) Every hole had 3-4 Hummingbirds on it, mostly around the
extensive Salmonberry lining the holes.
