I strolled through the cheese factory clearcut in Lacey today. I found one
lone Vesper Sparrow, singing away, plus my first Western Tanager for the
year. Lots of goldfinches in full song, too. An Osprey flew overhead,
going inland.

Back home our feeder was inundated with Evening Grosbeaks, and our first
Black-headed Grosbeak of the year! Ain't spring grand?
