Wind NW 5-10; Temp 50F
Method: 30 min (timed) station count 100m east of "3 rocks" on
top of SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: The movement of PACIFIC LOONS seems to be on the wane. Birds
were moving through in waves with regular periods of zero count.
A BROWN PELICAN was fishing throughout the period just off the jetty
as were two breeding plumage RED-NECKED GREBES.
