Tweets,
Had a very good day of birding at English and British camps yesterday.
Among highlights were:
A raptor fest at British Camp. 7 Turkey Vultures, 3 Adult Golden Eagles, 2
Bald Eagles, and 2 Osprey. Also firsts for the year were: Western Tanager,
House Wren, Chipping sparrow and Hammonds Flycatcher.
At American Camp I had 4 Vesper Sparrows, 1 breeding plumage Lapland
Longspur (about the same spot as was one earlier this year maybe same
bird), 2 Skylarks and 9 Orca whales. Though birding was only a secondary
purpose I still had 74 species for the day, not bad.
