This may not be news to regular Tweeters reeders, but there were two white
pelicans at Nisqually refuge on Sunday: in the largest freshwater pond out
towards the outer limits of the refuge. Also saw 6 bald eagles loafing on the
mud flats from the observation deck over the salt marsh. Lot's of other
'typicals' including a great look at a warbling vireo which was first for a
couple of the novice birders along for the stroll.
