Two WHITE-TAILED KITES were seen on the 6th near Gate Mima Road and
Bordeaux Road south of Littlerock. The birds are currently on private
property but are occasionally visible from the road.

On the 5th 20 BLUE-WINGED TEAL and a female WILSON'S PHALAROPE were seen
at the Stanwood sewage ponds. One SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, one PECTORAL
SANDPIPER, and one SOLITARY SANDPIPER were in ponds on 28th Street north
of Norman Road, between Silvana and Stanwood. Also on the 5th 11
WHITE-FACED IBIS were seen flying north from the Astoria, Oregon
airfield.

At the Montlake Fill in Seattle a WESTERN KINGBIRD arrived on the 5th.

14 REDHEADS were at the Everett Sewage Ponds on the 3rd. At the ponds
just to the north was a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER.

Two AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS were seen May 2 at Nisqually NWR, south of
the Brown Farm Dike Trail.

On May 2, a pelagic trip from Westport produced a MURPHY'S PETREL, one
LONG-TAILED JAEGER, and one FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER. Back ashore at
Bottle Beach, 78 RED KNOTS and two RUDDY TURNSTONES. The 2 AMERICAN
WHITE PELICANS remain at Bowerman Basin.

On May 2nd at Penn Cove on Whidbey Island were 150 BLACK TURNSTONES, 15
RUDDY TURNSTONES, and 51 SURFBIRDS.

An AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER was seen May 2nd at the Jensen access of the
Skagit WRA.

The Mottman Road stormwater ponds in Olympia May 1st produced two
BLUE-WINGED TEAL, a SOLITARY SANDPIPER, and lots of other shorebirds.

One EURASIAN WIGEON persists at Ilwaco as of May 1st.

A BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER made an appearance at the Montlake Fill on April
30.
