Two BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEWS have been at the South Jetty of the Columbia
since late last week. They were seen at least through 8:00 am on the
11th. Go to Parking area C and walk the trail toward the pond. The
birds have been seen feeding on crabs along the rocks of the jetty and
around the pond area.
Two BRISTLE-THIGHED CURLEWS were seen at the Pt. Brown Jetty at Ocean
Shores on the 8th, but these were not relocated.

A YELLOW-BILLED LOON was seen near Port Williams State Park in Clallam
County on the 9th.

80 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were seen at the Damon Point pond at
Ocean Shores on the 9th. Two BLUE-WINGED TEAL were nearby at the sewage
treatment plant on the 9th.

Two WILSON'S PHALAROPES were at the Stanwood ponds on the 9th.

Two AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS were at Nisqually on the 9th, along with a
first year GLAUCOUS GULL.

A solitary SOLITARY SANDPIPER made an appearance at the Montlake Fill in
Seattle on the 9th.
